SCHOENING, Charles A, age 80 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Candy; brother, Paul; brother-in-law, Bud; sisters-in-law, Emma, Norma, Betty, Jane and son-in-law, Dave. Charles is survived by his daughters, Terri Shearer, Patti Lane, Laura (Bill) Sims; grandchildren, Erin, Andrew (Kristen), Steven (Shelbe), Sarah (Andrew) and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Alex and Lucy; brothers, Al and Kenny; brother-in-law, Richard; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Emmy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Charles served in the Navy for 4 years. He worked at NCR...

Charles is survived by his daughters, Terri Shearer, Patti Lane, Laura (Bill) Sims; grandchildren, Erin, Andrew (Kristen), Steven (Shelbe), Sarah (Andrew) and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Alex and Lucy; brothers, Al and Kenny; brother-in-law, Richard; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Emmy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Charles served in the Navy for 4 years. He worked at NCR and Hobart and in his spare time enjoyed sports, bowling, camping, gardening, and puzzles. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 4pm-8pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL.
