Winterbotham, Donald H. Sr., age 85 of Dayton was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 25, 2015. Donald was born October 18, 1929 in Lebanon, Ohio to the late Floyd W. Winterbotham Sr. and Charlotte M. (Kaiser) Winterbotham. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Joyce Elaine Winterbotham; 11 brothers and sisters: Floretta M., Floyd W. Jr., Charles H., Roger H., Walter G., Edward J., Josephine K., Robert C., Paul L., Doris M., and Eugene; granddaughter Teresa E. Perkins and great granddaughter Miranda E. Perkins. Survived...

Winterbotham Sr. and Charlotte M. (Kaiser) Winterbotham. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Joyce Elaine Winterbotham; 11 brothers and sisters: Floretta M., Floyd W. Jr., Charles H., Roger H., Walter G., Edward J., Josephine K., Robert C., Paul L., Doris M., and Eugene; granddaughter Teresa E. Perkins and great granddaughter Miranda E. Perkins. Survived by his 2 sisters, Ida May Knopp and Charlotte V. Babbitt (Edwin); 7 children: Donald H. Winterbotham Jr. (Laura), Pamela E. Keyser (Jim), Lawrence D. Winterbotham(Patricia), Kenneth L. Winterbotham, Patrick A. Winterbotham(Rosie), Andrew D. Winterbotham(Connie), and Eric D. Winterbotham; 8 grandchildren: Anthony D. Perkins Sr.(Tamra), Jennifer L. Walters(Lloyd), Matthew S. Winterbotham Sr.(Misty), Shawna M. Winterbotham, Bryan E. Winterbotham(Jessica), James R. Winterbotham(Rebecca), Kevin Winterbotham, and Adam Winterbotham; 11 great grandchildren: Jenna M. Collins, Alexis N. Winterbotham, Skylar J. Lindsey, Anthony D. Perkins Jr., Ashlyn E. Walters, Matthew S. Winterbotham Jr., Caden W.D. Perkins, Natalie M. Winterbotham, Lilyan J. Winterbotham, Mason E. Winterbotham, and Brantley T. Winterbotham. Donald and Joyce were married on July 26, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio. He served in the Korean War as a Corporal in the US Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1952. Donald worked at Dayton Forge & Heat Treating as a Machinist, where he retired from. He enjoyed working on cars and collecting model cars, he was an avid WWE Wrestling fan, and loved painting and making ceramics. Donald was a great man, loving husband, dedicated father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed greatly. We love you! Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Friday, March 27, 2015 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Funeral Service 10 am Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Randy Grimes officiating. Burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
